Growing up, I was heavily involved in tennis, soccer, and dance. As a student-athlete in college, I was unable to participate in or try new activities. It wasn’t until I finished my career as a student-athlete and earned my degrees that I had the opportunity to give pole fitness a try.
I was introduced to pole fitness in 2014 and became an official Miss Pole Certified Instructor in January of 2017. I distinctly remember the feeling I had after my first class; it was unlike anything I had ever felt before. I felt sexy, empowered, and most of all, I had fun! Pole challenged my mind and body in ways that other activities had never done.
I hope to share my love of pole as I challenge each of my students! When I'm not as Miss Pole, I work as a Project Manager for a pharmaceutical company. In addition to pole, I love running, yoga, soccer, and cooking. I'm very excited to meet you and be a part of your pole journey!

I wanted to add something fun to my routine to help me tone up. What I did not expect to discover was a different version of myself - a confident and sexy version buried beneath all the daily anxieties of the real world. For years, Miss Pole has been a safe zone for me to let go of insecurities and enjoy myself without being judged while actually having FUN!

Hi, I'm Acee!
I’ve been around the pole fitness scene for most of my life, but I didn’t start formally learning and teaching until I was eighteen. Growing up, sports were never really my thing, but “dancing” in my basement to music so loud my neighbors probably considered filing a noise complaint? That I could do. Running, rolling, flailing… I was basically a human tornado. When I channeled all that energy into pole fitness, I discovered what my body could do —and, equally importantly, what it definitely could not. Full disclosure, I didn’t feel very sexy at first, but I felt strong (mostly, just because I showed up). Over time, that strength grew into confidence and comfort in my own skin.
My first real dive into the fitness world? I walked into a gym, panicked at the number of people, had no idea what I was doing, and ended up crying in my car while eating an old pack of Oreos. Fun times. This was shortly after abdominal surgery that had completely reshaped what my body could handle and what my mind believed it could handle. At that moment, I honestly thought I’d never be one of those “fitness girly” types TikTok keeps showing. I may not have become that, and that’s okay. I have learned to transform my body and mind into a safe, accepting space —one where strength, growth, and self-appreciation happen on my terms, through all stages of life.
As an instructor, I thrive in clear, structured environments and value precision and consistency. You can count on me to create a safe, judgment-free space for you to explore, embrace, and empower your body and mind. My goal is for you to leave class feeling capable, confident, and free from the stresses of daily life. Fair warning, I talk a lot, but mostly because I genuinely love guiding others using my own experiences to make your journey easier, safer, and more fun. Plus, I'm the Brookfield Office Manager, so you can call me with questions, concerns, or just for reassurance (lol).
Outside of pole fitness, I’m a law student with big dreams of working on prison reform and reintegration in the U.S. So, technically, if you ever get into legal trouble, I might be able to help (though legally, probably not if you’re a student 😅). I’m also a new cat mom to Biscuit and Gravy, both 10 weeks old and ironically named after foods I don’t eat. One sneezed, and I panicked and took him to the vet. So yes, kitten motherhood is a little overwhelming, but I’m figuring it out! I also love crocheting blankets, and I’d happily make you one. I enjoy exploring Milwaukee adventures, as long as there’s a detailed itinerary first, and watching delightfully trashy TV.
I welcome students of all backgrounds, fitness levels, body types, goals, and passions. My mission is to encourage, empower, and inspire every student who walks through my door. Bonus, I’m pretty good at shaking my booty, so that’s a fun skill you might pick up, too. And full transparency, it took me like two weeks to write this bio—so if you think it’s a little long, now you know why. I can’t wait to meet you and share this journey!

Hi, I'm Brittney (they/she). I started pole dancing in 2023 and was immediately hooked. Since then, I have fallen in love with dancing, performing, and competing. Every performance is a fun and unique challenge. Through pole dancing, I have gained confidence, strength, and a deeper appreciation for my body.
As an instructor, I aim to help students feel confident and comfortable in their bodies. I want to create a welcoming, body neutral space that is safe for queer people, people of color, and other marginalized people. My first encounter with pole fitness was when I scheduled my bachelorette party at Miss Pole in 2013. I was instantly in love, and shortly after, I signed up for my first six-week series. I attended so many classes at Miss Pole that it just made sense for me to work there!
I became a certified master instructor in 2014 and taught everything from Introduction to Pole fitness to Advanced Aerial six-week series. A few years later, I put a hold on instructing when I became pregnant with my oldest daughter.
After having two incredible daughters, I was ready to recertify as an advanced-level instructor and reembrace my passion for pole fitness.
I love pole fitness because of the amazing workout, fun and stress-free environment, and welcoming community. I became an instructor because I want to share this experience with others.
Outside of pole fitness and my role as an instructor, I have a biochemistry degree and work in a pharmaceutical laboratory. I enjoy gardening and baking and all things fitness - especially running, yoga, kickboxing.

I began taking classes with Miss Pole in early 2019. I’d wanted to try pole for several years and was thrilled to finally do so. I was so nervous at my first class but quickly grew comfortable. Each week, my confidence grew, and my strength improved. By the end of the 6-week series, I could perform movements that had at first seemed impossible.
Shortly after that first class, I started attending local burlesque shows. You could find me at Five Night Club for Five Star Tease every Friday night. In October 2019, I made my burlesque debut as my alter ego, Sybil Shameless. Burlesque opened my eyes to how multifaceted we are as individuals.
We’re taught that we can’t be sexy and professional and can’t be friendly and maintain boundaries. These ideas are absurdly incorrect; we are the sum of all are parts coexisting inside us. I am drawn to burlesque because it allows me to combine several of my favorite things: humor, creativity, dance, body liberation, and sparkle.
Pole and burlesque have significantly increased my confidence, helped to improve my relationship with my body, and empowered me to embrace all parts of myself without shame. I am honored to be able to share these gifts with others. I practice Health At Every Size and am an advocate for body liberation. Everyone has the right to respect and safety regardless of how they look or identify. I encourage others to show up as their authentic selves and celebrate the traits that set them apart.
When I’m not dancing, you can find me at home snuggling my two cats, oscillating between darkly depressing and utterly ridiculous TV, working on puzzles, listening to podcasts, and interviewing guests for my podcast. I’m outdoors as much as possible in the summer months and enjoy hiking, kayaking, and just lounging in the sun.
I love to laugh and have never been accused of taking myself too seriously. Being a human is complicated, so I try to find fun and joy wherever I can. My goal as an instructor is to create a fun and accepting environment, empower you to connect with your body and celebrate the journey of exploration.

I pack a lot of fun and strength into a vertically challenged body! My love for music, dance, and fitness runs deep. When I first came to Miss Pole, I was emerging from a tough chapter in life and searching for something different—something that would help build my confidence. I was both nervous and excited, having never tried anything like this before. But the moment my foot hit the studio floor, I never looked back.
Through pole, I’ve learned a great deal about myself and become more in tune with my body. My physique has transformed, and my confidence is at an all-time high. The experience has eased anxiety, helped me heal, and given me a safe place to let go of insecurities. Miss Pole has truly taught me how to love the skin I’m in.
As an instructor, I love helping others discover that same sense of empowerment. Nothing beats the moment a student nails a move and lights up with that “I got it!” expression. Watching students push past their comfort zones, grow into stronger versions of themselves, and cheer each other on is the most rewarding part of teaching.
Outside of the studio, you’ll find me teaching Zumba, spending time with my family, friends, and my Morkie, Holley. I’m happiest with chips and salsa or hibachi, at a concert, dancing, or shopping. I’m passionate about self-love and personal growth, so I spend a lot of time reading and exploring new ways to support that.
I look forward to connecting with every student who walks through Miss Pole’s doors and helping them feel strong, confident, and unstoppable.

Growing up, I was never the athletic type. I loved dance from afar but took few classes myself. I didn’t think I’d ever be able to do the amazing things I saw others do. That all changed in 2021 when I took my first class at Miss Pole—I was hooked from the start. Since then, I’ve watched my skills grow and discovered a level of confidence I never knew I had.
For me, pole is more than just fitness—it’s a space to feel strong, athletic, and unapologetically sexy. My goal as an instructor is to guide you as you discover your own confidence and strength, while celebrating your progress every step of the way.
In my classes, you can expect a supportive and uplifting atmosphere where you’re encouraged to challenge yourself, explore movement, and, most importantly, have fun!

Hi. You know what I'm bad at? Talking about myself. I'm a person and I like to do things. I also appreciate not doing things (rest is important, after all). But you know what I'm good at? Expressing myself through movement, which is how I ended up at Miss Pole! I'm also good at finding unique ways to teach that work for you and your body, no matter where you are in life.
Come hang out if you think you'd like dancing how I like my chili: low, slow, & spicy. No noodles, though, please. I love dancing to genres you wouldn't expect, making references to obscure nerdy things, and making sure YOU leave class with a good workout and a better understanding of how to move with what you've got through space and time!
Okay, fine, I'll say a bit about myself. When not working in the wild world of water infrastructure or doing pole things, I love reading, vidyagaming, playing with my silk fans, homebrewing, and paddling. Halloween is my favorite holiday; horror and sci-fi are my favorite genres, and I prefer pie to cake. See? I told you I was bad at this. See you in class!

I am the pole obsessed founder of Miss Pole, Inc, a wife to my amazing husband, and a mother of three amazing kids! I found Pole Fitness in 2003, and in 2005, I opened my first studio in Brookfield, WI. Since then, I have opened two additional locations—Kenosha, WI and Madison, WI.
Before pole fitness, I tried to stay active, but conventional fitness never "inspired" me. I always enjoyed the workout that pole offered, but I fell in love with something else. What inspired me was finding a way to embrace my body, effortlessly exude confidence, and develop amazing and meaningful relationships.
As controversial as pole fitness was in 2005, I knew I had to find a way to offer my experience to as many women as possible. Miss Pole has allowed me to see countless physical transformations that include everything from increased strength and endurance to muscle toning and weight loss. However, that has NEVER been the focus, nor will it ever be the focus of Miss Pole. Seeing the emotional transformations is what makes my job so gratifying. Our classes aren't about changing yourself; they are about finding yourself, discovering what brings you to life and learning to accept and appreciate your body.

It was love at first…spin. They say when you fall in love, you fall hard. Well, that’s exactly what happened to me after my first class with Miss Pole, figuratively, of course. I’ve always had this sense of curiosity and energy toward sensual movements and exotic dance styles, but never really allowed myself to explore it; nor was I very fit or in shape to feel worthy. I was well into my 30s when I finally decided to put myself out there and signed up for Intro to Pole in 2022. I became addicted. Addicted to this person I was becoming. Who was this confident, beautiful, sexual woman who was emerging after each and every week? Stronger in all ways possible to the mind and body. I still to this day, am mesmerized by what this dance community brings to each and every person it touches. That’s why I am here: thrilled to be part of your journey in whatever way that may be for you. Let me help transform your mind and body into the best version of yourself; I promise you won’t be disappointed. Classes will be filled with fun routines and activities, good company, great jams, and well…maybe some cool bruise-art when we’re all done.
When I’m not teaching, you can find me alongside you in other classes as I perfect and advance my own skills. Outside the studio, I bartend for fun and am an automotive gear-head with full glam and nails all day, every day. And as a side note: I’m obsessed with glitter!!

My journey of self-expression started as a little girl in gymnastics class. A few years later, I started to explore dance and immediately felt a deep connection. Even as a young girl, dancing was my emotional outlet. It allowed me to convey feelings I couldn't express with words, and it filled me with a sense of uncomplicated happiness. As I got older, the fluidity, energy, and grace of dancing became therapeutic—it lifted away the daily stresses and made me feel free.
I eventually veered away from dance to pursue my love of horticulture. Two degrees and multiple certifications later, I dove in and put my skills to use. My first job was managing a garden center—the garden center where I met my wonderful husband.
I discovered Miss Pole a few years later; Miss Pole led me back to dance and helped me rediscover "me-time."
After my first Introduction to Pole series, I instantly wanted to be a part of the Miss Pole team. I wanted to encourage, empower, and inspire women; I wanted to help women find confidence, strength, and the freedom that comes with dancing.
I couldn't have been more thrilled when accepted into the Miss Pole Instructor Certification Program—I was one step closer to making my dream a reality. With my son about to start kindergarten, the timing was perfect.
Fast forward to today; I am a certified instructor teaching pole fitness, aerial pole fitness, chair dance, and burlesque. Every Thursday at Miss Pole, you can catch me encouraging amazing women and spreading the love and benefits of pole fitness.

I’ve always enjoyed dance of all forms, and as I got older it became more difficult to find dance classes that were supposed to be ‘just for fun,’ but actually fun!
